Nema Stepper Motor Sizes

NEMA stepper motor sizes depend on the frame size of the stepper motor. NEMA means the standards set by “National Electrical Manufacturers Association”, which is comprised of 560 major electrical manufacturers in the United States, primarily consisting of manufacturers of equipment and devices for power generation, transmission, distribution, and power applications. The purpose of standard setting is to eliminate misunderstandings between electrical product manufacturers and users and to specify the safety of these product applications.

STEPPERONLINE provides a range of hybrid stepper motors with frame sizes from NEMA 6 to NEMA 52. All stepper motors are compliant with NEMA standard mounting sizes. They are available in 4, 6 or 8 lead configurations for bipolar or unipolar operation. In addition to the standard structure, it can be designed and manufactured according to the special requirements of customers. Available customizations include a variety of shaft customizations, encoders, and gearbox customizations based on superior performance in a particular operating environment.
